With pre-recruitment season in full tilt Panhellenics have begun to offer workshops and meet and greets for PNMs and their mothers.  If you have the chance to go to one of these events YOU SHOULD.  Unfortunately they are not held in some areas of the US.  It seems that the places that really need them don’t have them…grrrr!!  I think these are especially helpful for young women who are planning to go through recruitment out of state and even more important for those of you who are going through at a school that has a competitive recruitment!!

The Panhellenic women who put these on do a great job!  You will find they generally cover how to do a resume, how to secure recommendations (this is a big reason to GO especially if you are still needing recs), what to wear and what to expect.  Some times they also cover recruitment conversation and one Panhellenic several years ago gave out the cutest little books with all kinds of info in it!

So I will try once a week to give you an updated list….you can scan it and see if there are any coming up in your area…have fun!
